Dr. Kean Poon

Dr. Kean Poon is a senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales and an adjunct assistant professor at EdUHK. She is recognized as a leading scholar in the field of educational psychology and special education. Her focus of research including:

  • Executive Function in Special Education

  • Adolescents with ADHD and RD

  • Juvenile delinquency

在加入香港教育大學之前，潘博士於香港大學取得教育心理學博士學位，專門研究閱讀障礙（RD）和注意力不足過動症（ADHD）學生的認知缺陷。她的研究興趣為（1）特殊教育中的執行功能； （2）患有註意力不足過動症（ADHD）和/或閱讀障礙（RD）的青少年； （3）未成年人犯罪。 Poon 博士在著名的同行評審國際期刊（例如《發展障礙研究》、《心理學前沿》、《BMC 兒科》、《Heliyon》）上發表了多篇研究論文，並在註意力不足過動症兒童的執行功能以及反社會和道德行為等領域撰寫了書籍章節。她的作品被 100 多項研究引用。她還開發了三款基於證據的電子訓練應用程式：i-maze、Task-switching和Mr Fox games，這是首批用於增強中國有特殊教育需求的兒童執行功能的訓練應用程式。潘博士於2019年矽谷國際發明節及2020年及2022年加拿大國際發明創新大賽中榮獲銀牌及特別獎。她被選為本次大賽十大女性發明家之一。為表彰她在本地和國際領域知識轉移方面做出的傑出貢獻，她被授予2020/21年度總統知識轉移傑出獎。

在學術之外，潘博士熱衷於運用最新的心理學理論和研究成果為有特殊教育需求的學生提供支持。她擔任過各種顧問職務。其中包括被任命為香港心理學會副院士和香港傷殘者騎術協會復健小組委員會成員。潘博士曾任香港考試及評審院特殊學習障礙考生委員會專家委員及樂善堂梁銶琚小學分校校董。
